I just looked at the 2012 West Side house stats up to the end of April. There have been 6% more houses listed in the first four months of this year versus last and a 37% reduction in the number of sales. Last April saw 590 houses for sale versus 949 this month. The average selling price of a West Side house is up 6% over 2011. So, where are we? It is a better market for buyers and sellers have to be very realistic in their pricing.
